This is the first album of the Portuguese guitar João Freitas, who
studied in Berklee College of Music for four years and brings here all
the influence he got from the American scene, especially based on the
American standards. The album was made during the pandemic as a result of live sessions with no overdubs, all played together as a live
performance.

It consist in two different quartets, one where the guitar is
supported by the fantastic pianist Pedro Neves and the other one where
the guitar is doing the comping for the beautiful Trumpet of Luis
Cunha.

A very honest cd with great musicians that gave all the love to the music.

This album was recorded in the comfort of two home studios in Lisbon and Oporto, Portugal
